Salt Lake Tribune Endorses Chris Wharton for City Council
We are thrilled to have the endorsement of The Salt Lake Tribune Editorial Board! Wharton sees the need for more public transit and increased revenue to pay for all city services. He thinks Salt Lake City, working with the Utah Legislature, can find a way to draw more income from the giant influx of people who live in — and pay taxes to — nearby suburbs and cities yet swell the daytime population of the city and put significant wear and tear on the city’s infrastructure. Chris Wharton first to declare candidacy for City Council District 3
Candidate filing for the 2017 municipal elections began on June 1st and Chris Wharton was the first to officially declare his candidacy for District 3's seat on the Salt Lake City Council.
